Loren Smith, composer, singer discusses imposter syndrome, inspo, growing up in a musical family, and more

Bay area native Smith is a proud member of a huge musically gifted family that created and nurtured his love of music. Singing his first solo at age 3, Smith’s music has surpassed over a million and a half Youtube views including his first single, the summer smash “Break Free which was featured on NBC’s Today Show.

In addition to being a featured soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Smith’s solo vocals have been featured in the motion pictures “Get Out”, “Lincoln”, Hulu’s “Love, Victor” and the CW’s “All American” to name a few, and Smith’s original compositions have been heard on TV’s “Jane the Virgin”, “Lucifer”, and “The Bridge”.

Smith has lent his voice to the recording projects of BTS, Lil Nas X, Disney Channel, HBO Max, Nick Carter, Pharrell and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was soloist for the Special Olympic Opening Summer Games, shared the stage as a supporting vocalist for Frankie Grande, Arcade Fire, Deborah Cox, Tchami, Erich Bergen, Heather Headley and Andy Grammer, and is currently a featured vocalist in the “Silver Lining Singers” on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE and tenor and vocal director of Michael Buble’s Background Vocalists and Live Choirs.

Smith has also performed hundreds of concerts throughout United States, Canada and overseas, bringing his music to countless people worldwide. Smith never fails to leave an audience breathless, making him one of the most sought after vocalists in the country.
